Julia Record

With over 30 years of communications experience, 25 of which on worldwide campaigns, Julia has specialised in the luxury, lifestyle and travel sectors. She is currently the global director of communications and partnerships for Dorchester Collection, a position she has held for almost 12 years.  Julia's responsibilities include media and influencer relations, issue management, social media and strategic brand partnerships.  In addition, she has held senior corporate roles based in three continents including global vice president of communications for Kerzner International (One&Only Resorts, which she launched, and Atlantis) and has headed up worldwide comms for Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, The Savoy Group and Thistle Hotels.  Julia was included in PR Week's 2021 and 2020 Power Books as number one in the luxury hospitality sector and was selected by Walpole, the official body for 250+ of the UK's luxury brands, as one of the top 50 'Most Influential People in the British luxury sector' in 2020.
