
Kathryn Beiser

Kathryn Beiser is vice president of global communications for Eli Lilly. In this role, she provides leadership, management and oversight of communications strategy, policy and performance for communications activities across the organization and has oversight of the corporate brand, public relations, media relations, issues management, corporate digital and social channels, public affairs, internal communications and executive communications. Beiser has worked across a broad range of global industries during her career and has experience as both a chief communications officer and senior agency executive.
Prior to Lilly, Beiser served as chief communications officer of Kaiser Permanente, global chair of the corporate practice at Edelman, executive vice president of corporate communications for Hilton Worldwide and head of communications for Discover Financial Services, as well as held senior roles at some of the world's leading communications firms. Kathy serves on the board of Bright Pink, a nonprofit dedicated to helping women understand and manage their risk for developing breast and ovarian cancer. She is a member of the Page Society and on the organizing committee of The Seminar Beiser holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Northwestern University and a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern.
