Pearl Lai values purpose-driven undertakings and advocates social and commercial sustainability for betterment of lives. With over 16 years of FMCG experience with Carlsberg Malaysia, a Malaysian Public Listed company operating in a highly sensitive and scrutinized operating environment, she has track records in change & issues communication, PR amplification, sustainability development and community & stakeholder management.   

As the Corporate Affairs Director in her current role, she is currently responsible for strengthening the overall reputation of the Carlsberg Malaysia Group through purpose-driven profiling via internal communications, external affairs including regulatory affairs, sustainability developments, marketing activation and the brewery visit experience within the Malaysian operations.  

She represents the Company on the committee of the Confederation of Malaysian Brewers Berhad (CMBB) and on the board of Malaysian Danish Business Council (DANCHAM).  She also oversees key communications and sustainability priorities in the Singapore operations.
